Hanse AgroStore Africa website enhancement and digital marketing support
Hanse AgroStore approached Globally Cool to enhance its online presence, specifically focusing on expanding its reach and visibility within the African market. The goal was to update and restructure Hanse AgroStore's website, improve its usability, and implement a targeted digital marketing strategy.
We collaborated closely with Hanse AgroStore to identify the needs of its African target audiences, namely small-scale farmers and investors, while ensuring that the website was more user-friendly and effective in driving business contacts.

Activities
- Determining target audience and needs: We initiated the project by creating a Content Goal Matrix in collaboration with Hanse AgroStore. This matrix was used to identify the specific content needs of African markets. Additionally, external research was conducted to understand the most effective digital platforms and search engine preferences for these regions.
- Website optimisation: Based on the insights from our assessments, we focused on improving the website’s usability, navigation, and SEO. This included restructuring product and project pages, enhancing calls-to-action (CTAs), and ensuring that content met the needs of African farmers and investors.
- Content creation for enhanced engagement: We generated fresh content for the website. This content highlighted Hanse AgroStore’s expertise, innovative storage solutions, and successful reference projects, designed to increase visibility and engagement.
- Social media strategy: In line with the improved website, a robust social media plan was devised to boost brand awareness and engagement in Africa. We proposed a 3-month content calendar for LinkedIn and Facebook, tailored to resonate with the region's unique needs.
Results
- Increased engagement: The website saw a 57.4% increase in page views, with significant improvements in user interaction, session duration, and organic traffic from Google.
- Enhanced user experience: The new site structure and optimized content led to a noticeable improvement in site navigation and overall usability.
- Stronger social media presence: A more focused social media strategy saw growth in LinkedIn followers and greater visibility on Facebook, particularly within the African markets.
- Higher conversion potential: The strategic improvements, particularly in CTAs and content relevance, increased the potential for business conversion.
