Designing and producing training materials for trainers in ACP regions

COLEAD engaged Globally Cool to revitalise its training resources to improve learning experiences across African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) countries.

As part of this initiative, we led the comprehensive overhaul of COLEAD’s training manuals—infusing them with modern pedagogical techniques, interactive elements, and AI-powered tools. Our role focused on elevating the quality, relevance, and accessibility of the training materials to better equip COLEAD trainers and ensure alignment with global educational standards.

Activities

• Conducted extensive research on best practices and pedagogical innovations to identify gaps and opportunities for improving training methodologies.
• Facilitated focus group sessions involving COLEAD experts and target audience members to gather insights and refine content based on user needs.
• Developed clear, structured content with a logical progression, ensuring alignment with COLEAD’s objectives and international accessibility standards.
• Integrated visual aids and infographics, leveraging AI-driven tools like Canva, RenderForest, and Synthesia to enhance the engagement and accessibility of the training materials.
• Enhanced textual content, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and relevance through AI-assisted writing tools and expert revisions.
• Designed multimedia instructional materials, including videos, interactive quizzes, and e-learning modules tailored to diverse learning styles and preferences.
• Managed documentary resources efficiently, creating structured digital libraries and clear guidelines for evaluating and utilising resources.
• Implemented modern educational technologies such as Kahoot and Jamboard to foster interactive learning environments.
• Evaluated training material effectiveness through continuous feedback loops and iterative improvement processes.
