JCI needed help with Jordan specific export coaching, added value market information and export marketing support services for Jordan exporters. We brought a capacity building assessment and an action plan into play.

Activities

Co-creation of strategy development and action plan with:
  • Assessment of best practices within market intelligence, export coaching and marketing services in other countries;
  • Assessment of existing market information, export coaching and marketing services and capacities in Jordan and within JCI;
  • Assessment of the market information, export coaching and export marketing services needs by JCI members;
  • Description of services to be developed and the related model to ensure sustainability;
  • Description of capacity building needs within JCI to ensure effective management of the services within the scope of the ILO/JCI project.

Results

International Labour Organization (ILO) Export Coaching Project - Awareness seminar for 3 subsectors with 200 participants, 25 companies audited and 10 companies more or less successful in the EU market.

ECP Services as a sustainable service for JCI - Development of the ECP service with practical manuals and learning on the job via the ILO Export Coaching project the ECP services. The ILO export coaching project provided input for the manuals and offered a good learning environment to learn how to offer the ECP services. Furthermore, ILO Export coaching project offered a launching customer.
