Preparing Peruvian farmer cooperatives for the future

January 23, 2017

Peru’s exports of food and agricultural produce reached USD 6.0 billion in 2015. Quinoa and avocado were among the star performing products.

Sales and marketing strategy

In the first week of March, Warner will be in Peru to work with two ambitious farmer cooperatives that produce quinoa and avocado. Together with the boards of the cooperatives, Warner will work on a sales and marketing strategy that will guide them through the next three to five years.

Sustainable future, please

Although the avocado and quinoa markets are still increasing, competition is getting severe. Not only globally, but also in the local market. Product offers need to be unique to attract attention.

In light of this, it is extremely important to have Unique Selling Points to support the sales of the avocado and quinoa. They need to be unique, but they also need to be sustainable. To guarantee that also future generations can continue production.

Therefore, Globally Cool always considers it a privilege to participate in such projects. Being able to contribute to a sustainable future worldwide. Last year in countries like Palestine, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Vietnam and Myanmar. In March 2017 for two smallholder cooperatives in Peru.
