Globally Cool performed a successful matchmaking intervention on behalf of a Dutch consultancy firm, front runner in Asset Performance Management. The company was looking for a suitable partner regarding the implementation of their new project in Brazil.

In close collaboration with the client the key targets and perfect partner profile were defined, identified potential partners were discussed and a final shortlist of most suitable candidates was developed. Shortlisted companies were invited to send additional information, to assess their suitability on key aspects for our client. Combined with input from phone interviews a final meeting agenda with the top companies was developed. The roadshow went very well for our client, resulting in a signed contract with their new preferred Brazilian partner.

Activities

  • Several workshops and working sessions with the client’s project group to determine partner profile and most important indicators to assess the suitability of potential partners.
  • An online search for potential partners to develop a long list of companies.
  • In-depth screening of potential partners, in collaboration with a local partner in Brazil.
  • Follow-up phone interviews with selected shortlist companies to 1) introduce the client and 2) re-assess partner suitability.
  • Development of agenda for roadshow including appointments between potential partners and client.

Results

  • Longlist and shortlist developed, in co-creation with the client, with suitable partners in Brazil.
  • A complete overview of the Brazilian market in terms of suitable partners fitting in the perfect profile.
  • visit agenda for 2 weeks roadshow with appointments in Brazil.
  • Signed contract with a preferred partner for our Dutch client.
