Export Quality Management training in the State of Palestine

March 24, 2016

Last week, Warner visited the State of Palestine to train over 15 highly motivated Palestinian professionals in Export Quality Management.

Companies in the State of Palestine produce a variety of qualitative products, among which: olives, olive oil, dates, (marble) stones and tiles, textiles, leather (shoes) and furniture.

They currently export mostly to the neighbouring countries of Jordan, Lebanon and Israel. Their main challenge in exporting lies with the strict control of imported and exported products by the Israeli government.

During the seminar, representatives of the various sector associations were trained in quality management to support the companies to meet stringent export quality requirements in international markets. The training was conducted as part of a program of the German Metrology Institute (PTB), in collaboration with the International Trade Center.
