Globally Cool and Adam Smith International are collaborating on an e-commerce strategy development project for the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FWEAN). The program, funded by the Canadian Trade and Investment Facility for Development (CTIF), aims to equip women entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the digital economy. The initiative includes comprehensive training of trainers for FWEAN trainers who will then impart the knowledge to SMEs within FWEAN’s network.
Training of trainers in Kathmandu
The curriculum developed by Globally Cool consultants Girda Safitri and Mariët Saakstra covers a range of topics, including e-commerce fundaments, marketplaces, social commerce, social media marketing, search engine optimisation, and fulfilment. The training of trainers programme is equally comprehensive, ensuring that FWEAN trainers understand the curriculum thoroughly and can deliver it to SMEs within the network effectively. In May, the team will be on-site in Kathmandu to share their e-commerce and digital marketing knowledge with 10 selected FWEAN instructors and train them on soft skills.
Women empowerment
The partnership with FWEAN Nepal is an excellent opportunity for Globally Cool and Adam Smith International to contribute to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs in Nepal. The programme aims to help women entrepreneurs overcome some of the barriers they face in the digital economy. With the e-commerce and digital marketing curriculum, as well as the training of trainers program, FWEAN Nepal and its members are better equipped to succeed in the digital age.
Digital skills, critical to success
Globally Cool believes that digital skills are critical to success in the modern business landscape. By partnering with FWEAN Nepal, the organisations have the opportunity to make a positive impact on women entrepreneurs in Nepal and beyond. The team at Globally Cool is proud to collaborate with Adam Smith International on this project and looks forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on women entrepreneurs in Nepal.
