B2B matchmaking – from Qatar to the world

In 2022 the International Trade Centre (ITC) selected Globally Cool to work with on the project ‘Qatar – Export Acceleration Programme II’, financed by the Qatar Development Bank (QDB). We had the opportunity to work with companies from various industries – from food, to metallurgy, to household detergents and outdoor lighting solutions. All these companies put their trust in the experts from Globally Cool to deliver the most profitable and sustainable business matches.

Getting to know each other

We kicked off the project by establishing a task force and researching all the Qatari suppliers, looking to expand their exports around the world. For this, we compiled the most eminent business information in personalized company profiles. We also gathered product descriptions and imagery, certifications, and unique value propositions, constructing what would become the mainframe of the pitches that will be used when seeking buyers.

Researching matchmaking opportunities

Each of the Qatari suppliers provided us with a preferred international target market. Due to the versatility of the project, the Globally Cool experts had the opportunity to use their abundant skills in multiple languages. Furthermore, we had set up regular communication between the matchmakers and the suppliers, to ensure the prospects would be provided with the most relevant and up-to-date information in the company profiles.

Getting in touch

Having the finished company profiles it was time to work on curating long and short lists of potential buyers from the preferred markets. Globally Cool is all about going the extra mile and we believe in providing each client with the best solution! Sometimes, our seasoned experts would notice more profitable opportunities in different markets and that information would, of course, be communicated to the suppliers. We always strive to expand our research and outsource expertise, wherever necessary, to deliver the highest quality outcome possible.
