Hey, everyone! My name is Janet Perenovska and I am proud to be Globally Cool’s new sales and marketing intern
After the struggles of the past two –pandemic influenced – years, it feels like a breath of fresh air to become part of this team, as I work on finishing my bachelor’s degree at NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden.
BIG fan of travelling, since I was little
I was born in the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia – and I grew up there in the skirts of mountain Vitosha. Because of my upbringing, I have always been very fond of the nature around me, inspiring me to enjoy hiking, skiing and photography. During the warmer seasons, I’d always travel to explore my beautiful home country and beyond. Before even having turned 18, I had already had the chance to fly all over Europe, attending various international student projects, camps and family trips. For example, in 2014, I had the chance to attend a debate in the European Parliament in Strasbourg via a Euroscola project my high school participated in.
Came here to learn
In August 2017, I moved to Leeuwarden where I began my bachelor’s degree in Media & Entertainment Management. Through the years, I’ve been gathering loads of experience and after my minors in e-commerce and marketing communications, I landed a job as a part-time marketing coordinator at a rental business here in Friesland. This was my hands-on introduction to the Dutch business culture, which gave a kick-start to my journey of learning the Dutch language. Nowadays, I work in hospitality and focus completely on rounding off my studies. Hence, Globally Cool will become a crucial part of my education and I couldn’t be more excited about all the new things I will learn and experience here!
