Connecting businesses and people is a large part of what we do at Globally Cool. In October, we facilitated a visit for a delegation of Procomer – the organisation responsible for the promotion of Costa Rican exports. Find out how we arranged this!

Business development inspiration

Looking to develop support services for start-ups in Costa Rica, Procomer conducted a study trip to Dutch business incubators. To facilitate this trip, we turned to our network and ended up at the Dutch Incubation Association. A perfect business match: the association and Globally Cool carefully co-created a programme for the Procomer delegation.

Study tour

The tour led the group from Dutch provinces South Holland to Gelderland and even North Holland. They visited The Hague Tech, Humanity Hub, Wageningen Campus and Startup Bootcamp, where lots of good practices and ample tips were exchanged. With success! Procomer left with many excellent ideas to further develop their own services and advisory, all inspired by the incubator visiting programme.

Next steps

The objective of the day was to end up inspired, with a valuable list of new contacts and ideas. End score? Two out of two objectives were completed. Currently, Procomer is exploring a range of potential new partnerships and courses of action. To be continued!
