Students are the future pillars of our industry. That’s something we at Globally Cool know for sure. Therefore, we have made an effort over the last year to partner up with the local university: NHL Stenden Leeuwarden. By joining forces, students are able to experience working for real clients and we learn all about the new insights from educations such as Creative Business, Communications and Content Creator.
So far, we have completed two projects together and we are happy to announce that one is still in the pipeline.
Cooking videos with future content creators
Remember our client VASEP and the pangasius branding concept Your everyday fish? To hop on the video marketing train, we decided to create 5 amazing cooking videos – with pangasius of course – in two languages, English and Dutch. A group of students from the Associate Degree Content Creator helped us shoot and edit the videos for online purposes such as the website and various social media outlets. With great results as both the students and Globally Cool learned a lot from each other.
Extensive research and creativity from Communications students
We continued the partnership with a research assignment for fourth-year Communication students. Three groups analysed Globally Cool’s marketing and communications through a broad set of research methods and came up with advice on how to enhance it. This led to various creative concepts that have inspired us to work on a number of angles – to be continued.
What’s next: social media research and self-paced learning videos
Our Creative Business intern Preslava is taking charge of researching our current social media strategy to elevate it to 2022 levels. From LinkedIn to YouTube, it will all get a facelift and new content pillars. Our content marketing is anticipatedly waiting for the results! But that’s not all: together with the educations Content Creator and Creative Business, we will develop videos for self-paced learning modules for our very own Globally Cool Academy. 2022 promises to be a sensational year – stay tuned on social media for updates!
