JNMI strengthens its online presence with the help of Globally Cool

September 29, 2021

To help the Jordan National Metrology Institute (JNMI) present its services online, we created a new website for them. For Globally Cool, too, we did something we had never done before: launching a website in Arabic.

The run-up for the new website was a project where we elevated the knowledge and skills of 4 metrology institutes from the Middle East. Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) commisioned Globally Cool to train the participants in digital marketing. To make sure that all their newly-learned skills were put into practice, we also organised one-on-one sessions after the training sessions. During these meetings, our experts discussed improvement plans. One of the conclusions we reached for the JNMI team was that they needed a major overhaul of their website. And that is where the team of Globally Cool came into the picture, again!

Developing a new website always comes with certain demands. In this case, the fact that the JNMI website needed to be available in Arabic and English was quite the challenge. As you might know, Arabic words and sentences are written and read from right to left. This requires an adjusted view on web design. Globally Cool’s own Khaled is our in-house WordPress expert seeing to it that these challenges are transformed into opportunities.

The new website provides a complete overview of the JNMI services. Prominent call-to-actions make sure the visitor can find their way easily. The next step? Enhancing Search Engine Optimisation even more to ensure the website maintains a high ranking on Google. A promising continuation of online marketing!
