A big hello to everyone from the intern at Globally Cool—Preslava Ivanova.
I have started a new, challenging adventure during this last year of university education. Warmly welcomed by the team here, I believe that I will expand my horizons and knowledge of industry concepts.
I come from a small city in Bulgaria, Ruse, known as ‘Little Vienna’ because of its Viennese architecture. There I graduated from the “Baba Tonka” High School of Mathematics in Computer Science. I left my home country and arrived in Leeuwarden to follow the Creative Business program and as I am a person who loves to travel and explore, I decided to take the advantage of the Erasmus+ program and go for a semester in Belgium. Despite the challenges I faced during my trip, those were the best five months of my student years.

However, I always try to go back to my motherland to build a deeper connection with my roots. Since I was in kindergarten, I have been active in Bulgarian traditional dance. It has become an immutable part of my being. Every summer, I also explore the magnificent Bulgarian natural caves, forests, mountains, peaks, valleys—just to name a few— so I guess you can clearly see that I love my country very much. (Did you know that Bulgaria produces 70% of the world’s rose oil?)
