We can add yet another acquaintance to our current project portfolio. A few years ago, we met the team of the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), and we recently met again for an exciting new project.
Connecting suppliers and buyers
Through the online exhibition platform, HOPE (HAWA Online Platform for Exhibition), HAWA aims to connect their more than 500 members across Vietnam’s furniture and woodworking manufacturers to international buyers. Together with HAWA, Globally Cool is going to work on tangible improvements to enhance the impact of the HOPE platform. For this project, we’re commissioned by the Canadian Trade and Investment Facility for Development (CTIF).
Enhancing HOPE
Hopefairs.com offers information on showrooms, exhibitions, events and news. By assessing the website, interviewing potential buyers, and conducting a focus group with HAWA members, we will see what needs to be improved to bring the platform to a higher level. Teaching HAWA and its members to work with the platform, we will also take the opportunity to train them on digital marketing. In a series of webinars and one-on-one coaching, our consultants will teach them the ins-and-outs of website strategy, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), social media, sales, and e-commerce.
Reaching out to find buyers
It doesn’t end there – after having enhanced the platform and skills of HAWA’s members, it’s time to reach out to potential buyers. Together with the association, we will co-create a promotion plan and work on corresponding activities to realise this.
We’re looking forward to a fruitful collaboration. Curious how the project evolves? Stay tuned – we will keep you posted!
