We’re rolling up our sleeves and started training and coaching the team of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Indonesia on digital marketing. SIPPO commissioned us for this project and our joint aim is to optimize the website and social media marketing of the Indonesian Seafood sector and Indonesian seafood suppliers.
The Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries isn’t a new kid on the GC block. A few years ago, we co-created brand concepts and brand expressions for tuna, seaweed extracts, and pangasius. The brand promotion websites Indonesiaseaweed.com, Indonesianpangasius.com, and Indonesiantuna.com are among the main carriers of the developed brands.
Cool team members Alfons and Girda already performed a website scan for Indonesiafisheries.id. They also hosted an introduction webinar to get the support of top-level management in the Ministry to invest in digital marketing and align the strategic direction. The webinar focused on sharing the outcome of the assessment. Alfons and Girda highlighted the key success factors in digital marketing and showed a few inspiring good practices. Fun fact: more than 100 attendees wanted to join the webinar. It demonstrates a big appetite to learn and improve in the area of digital marketing. A promising forecast for the webinars that are yet to come!
We will guide the attendees with our e-learning platform in the Globally Cool Academy through several topics. A series of nine webinars cover themes such as website usability, SEO and social media management. The webinars will take place at the end of March and will also be made available via YouTube. Later on, our coaching activities will help the Indonesian team to work on tangible improvements. The ultimate goal is to transform the current website into a state-of-the-art promotion platform that will feature in the #1 position in Google’s search results. A promise we’re happy to make.
