Introducing New team member: Marijke Nijdam

September 16, 2019

We’re delighted to introduce the latest addition of Globally Cool team, our content marketing expert; Marijke Nijdam!

Our team is growing each day and Marijke has all the qualities that we look for in a colleague and now based at our Leeuwarden office. Without any further ado, here she is in her own words!

My background

Nice to meet you! I’m Marijke and for some time now I’ve been a member of the team member team. I studied communications in Leeuwarden and am pleased to work in this city again.

Before Globally Cool I worked for several companies and among other things made content about mortgages and insurances, bicycles and facades made of expanded metal. I am convinced that this broad experience will come in handy in the many projects that Globally Cool works on.

Getting to know me

In my spare time I like to read, watch movies, ride my bike and see the world by travelling. The best trips? I think New-Zealand, South-Africa and the United States are amazing. My boyfriend and I have visited many destinations and the next stop is Australia!

I like that there’s never a dull moment in the marketing field. A working day can be very diverse with writing articles, sorting photos, interviewing people and so on. I have written many texts already for several target groups. Someday I’ll write a book, but until then, I love to make content for Globally Cool clients.

Looking Forward

At Globally Cool, I will be holding a position as Content Marketer. The combination of working in a cool, smart team and the opportunity to do several projects for cool, international clients is the reason I joined the team.
