Fly Fishing Dreams and Zepter Passport join forces

Fly Fishing Dreams and Zepter Passport agreed during their matchmaking programme (MMF) to cooperate in the field of fly fishing expeditions. Based in Groningen, Fly Fishing Dreams is specialized in worldwide fly fishing expeditions since 1992. The Dutch entrepreneur Theo Huizing agreed with Zepter Passport from Bosnia Herzegovina to represent Zepter Passport.

Zepter Passport is a local incoming tour operator, who participated in CBI’s Export Coaching Programme. They benefitted from this Programme, gained a lot of knowledge about new products and markets. This resulted in developing fly-fishing packages: combining transport, fishing permits and overnight accommodation in guesthouses nearby the Bosnian rivers, with full service and full board. Soon their product became famous and they hosted many enthusiast clients from the UK, Scandinavia and other countries who were all fascinated by the natural beauties of the rivers and mountains. However, Zepter Passport failed to set foot on the Dutch market…

This changed when Zepter Passport, assisted by the Dutch Embassy in Sarajevo, applied for the Matchmaking Facility program (MMF). MMF asked for the help of Theo Nagel, senior product development and matchmaking expert at Cool Tourism Solutions. Together with his team he did a market survey and found out that there are roughly 45.000 registered fly-fishing fanatics in the Netherlands! They even have their own magazine, published 4 times per year with 4000 copies. Nagel identified the key-players and composed the business case in close cooperation with the Bosnians.

Next step was to introduce Zepter Passport on the Dutch market, which resulted in 5 leads. The bi-annual fly-fishing fair of November could be a very interesting momentum to discuss potential partnerships. But Flyfishing Dreams did not want to wait and offered Zepter Passport to represent them exclusively on the Dutch market. The first reservations have already been made!
