Hot Boy in Hanoi
It was no surprise that the temperature in Hanoi was relatively high by the end of April, by Dutch standards. Warner spent a week over there at the Market Information Department of VASEP, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters & Producers. He experienced that Hanoi is not only hot in terms of temperature…
Best Market Selection
Globally Cool created a cool and practical tool to perform an analysis of all countries globally and select the most promising markets. The cool tool combines data out of several sources, related to trade statistics, economic indicators and trade barriers. Warner introduced the tool to the VASEP MI team during the working sessions and successfully coached them on applying it for their key fishery products; shrimps, white fish, tuna and cephalopod. It resulted in several lists of white spot and penetration potential countries!
Cool reporting styles
Sharing key facts and figures for each promising product market combination is not as easy as it seems to be. Warner introduced a cool and easy format for enumerating the need-2-know data on a two pager factsheet. It enables the Market Information department to improve efficiency and effectiveness of their research work.
At a glance
Last but not least, Warner introduced infographics to the team, coaching them how to present key findings in a visual way, attractive and concise, hereby replacing lots of text and traditional tables.
Thanks to the girls of VASEP’s MI department, we are proud to announce Warner’s nickname “Hot Boy”. And his origin? According to the MI girls, “Hot Spot the Netherlands”!
