“Brilliant training. It was more than I expected to happen”.
This is only one comment to the e-business workshops that Globally Cool conducted in Bali and Cebu, The Philippines. Cool coaches Joost van der Kooij and Alfons van Duijvenbode spent two weeks here by the end of April to train 62 participants from the local tourism industry. The two day workshops covered various subjects, including Internet strategy, usability, search engine advertising, search engine optimisation, connecting to social media and evaluation tools such as Google Funnels and Analytics.
Exclusively good and bad practices from tourism industry.
Prior to the events, the websites of most companies had been assessed against a number of key performance indicators. We processed the findings in the workshop, by showing good and bad practices. Naturally, exclusively examples from the tourism sector were shared and also YouTube videos were used. The participants practiced their gained skills in the corresponding assignment for their own websites
After care planned.
The event was highly appreciated. The added value to them and their companies was rated as very high. Most of the participants plan to change their websites drastically in order to be or remain competitive on the international market. They will be guided further in the process by us and our cool colleagues.
